1. How to Cancel a Booking
You can cancel your service booking through your account dashboard on the ServiceBook24.in website or mobile app. Navigate to 'My Bookings', select the booking you wish to cancel, and follow the cancellation instructions.
2. Cancellation Timeframes and Charges
Cancellation charges may apply depending on how far in advance you cancel the service:
- More than 24 hours before scheduled service time: Full refund of any advance payment, or no cancellation fee if payment was due on service completion.
- Between 4 to 24 hours before scheduled service time: A cancellation fee of 25% of the service value or a minimum flat fee (e.g., ₹100, whichever is higher) may be applicable. This will be deducted from your advance payment or charged to your account.
- Less than 4 hours before scheduled service time: A cancellation fee of 50% of the service value or a minimum flat fee (e.g., ₹200, whichever is higher) may be applicable.
- After service provider has reached your location or service has begun: Cancellations are generally not permitted. If allowed under exceptional circumstances, it may involve a fee up to the full service value.
Note: Specific cancellation terms for certain services or promotional offers may vary and will be communicated at the time of booking.
3. Provider-Initiated Cancellations
In rare cases, a Service Provider may need to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances. If this happens, we will notify you as soon as possible and attempt to find an alternative provider or reschedule the service at your convenience. If no alternative is suitable, you will receive a full refund of any advance payment made for that service.
4. No-Show Policy
If you are not available at the scheduled service location at the agreed time, and the provider is unable to reach you, this may be treated as a last-minute cancellation, and applicable fees may be charged.
5. How Refunds for Cancellations are Processed
Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed back to your original payment method within 5-7 business days. Please refer to our 'Refund Policy' for more details.
6. Policy Modifications
ServiceBook24.in reserves the right to modify this Cancellation Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our platform. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
